DAVID’S RENAISSANCE

David's Renaissance combines traditional drawing techniques with digital software to generate 1163 unique collection of NFTs. Just as Michelangelo's first strike into marble ushered in the renaissance -- NFTs mark an important moment in art history: the clash between art ownership and internet culture. Our collection is a nod to one of the greats and is manifested through a digital collectable. Each minted David provides the holder with a unique floating bust of David. Certain Davids will have rarer attributes than others, with some even redeemable for physical artwork. After the plague comes the Renaissance, this is a conversation about culture. Welcome to the digital Renaissance.

So the story begins... 70,000 years ago Cavemen in South Africa drew cross-hatched patterns on a handful of rocks. These are our earliest examples of drawings. 40,000 years ago Cavemen in Western Europe used berries to depict animals on the wall of a cave. These are our earliest examples of paintings. 30,000 years ago A caveman in Germany carved a piece of ivory into a human-like figure with the head of a cat. This is our earliest example of a sculpture. 14th Century Italian artists started painting on canvas, replacing panels of wood. 1500s Michelangelo carves the sculpture of David from a solid block of marble. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest masterpieces ever created. 1942 A physics professor named John Vincent Atanasoff and one of his students, Clifford Berry, built the first digital computer. 1970s Artists began to learn how to program computers, creating the first generation of digital artists and graphic designers. Present Day OpenSea Launches and quickly becomes the largest NFT marketplace. Gross market volume of $1.02B.
